The Alzheimer Nederland Impuls Grant opens three times each year.
The first round of the Impuls call in 2026 is open for applications until 7 April 2026 12:00 CET.

The Impuls Grant is aimed at excellent applications submitted to highly competitive funding calls by ZonMw or NWO, but which have been rejected because of insufficient funding budgets by these organisations.
Examples of these calls are the Rubicon, VENI, VIDI or Off Road grants.
The submitted application should be unchanged from its submission to the ZonMw or NWO funding call, and has to be in accordance with the Alzheimer Nederland Research Agenda (Chapters 3 and 4 plus Attachment).
The maximum budget of the application depends on the type of call and is the same amount as originally requested.
